Delete your Asante account

How to delete your account

You can request deletion of your Asante account and all associated data using any of the following methods:

Option 1 — Request online

Enter the email address associated with your Asante account. We will send you a confirmation link to verify the request.

Option 2 — From the app

  1. Open the Asante app on your device.
  2. Go to Settings (tap the gear icon).
  3. Tap Delete account.
  4. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

Option 3 — By email

Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line “Account Deletion Request”. Please include the email address associated with your Asante account. We will confirm receipt and process your request within 30 days.

What data is deleted

When your account is deleted, all of the following data is permanently removed:

  • Account data — your email address, profile, timezone, and onboarding preferences
  • Health and symptom data — all daily symptom logs, hot flash events, mood, sleep, and other tracked symptoms
  • Device health data — any synced data from Apple HealthKit or Google Health Connect (sleep analysis, heart rate, HRV)
  • Custom tags and milestones — all custom tags, daily tag entries, and milestone records
  • Generated reports — all PDF appointment summaries and their associated files

What data is retained

After account deletion, we may retain the following for limited purposes:

  • Anonymous aggregate analytics — non-identifiable, aggregated usage statistics that cannot be linked back to you
  • Legal obligations — any data we are required to retain by law (e.g. transaction records for tax purposes), held only for the legally mandated period

No personal data, health data, or identifiable information is retained after deletion.

Retention period

When you confirm deletion via the email link, your account and all data are deleted immediately. When requested via email to our support team, deletion is processed within 30 days.

Subscription cancellation

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription. To avoid being charged after deletion, please cancel your subscription first:

  • iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Asante → Cancel
  • Android: Google Play Store → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Asante → Cancel
